Lamar's 2587 DiscoBot team first started up in the year of 2008. Since then, we have branched off to four other teams, Kappa, Gamma, and Sigma, and, our newest addition, Beta DiscoBots Kappa flew out to the National Championship in CouncilBluffs, Iowa to compete among 100 teams and won the MegaNational Championship for the second year in a row. For the upcoming year, we are excited to announce that DiscoBots Kappa has once again been invited to Nationals and plan on defending our two year in a row championship title.
